How do I get started with Guitar Earo?
After downloading the app, you'll go through a brief onboarding process where you can choose your learning intent. You can then start with our learning decks to train your ear, browse the guitar library to compare sounds, or jump into the arcade mode for quick practice sessions.
What devices are supported?
Guitar Earo is available for iOS devices running iOS 13.0 or later. We recommend using headphones for the best audio experience when training your ear.
How does the learning system work?
Guitar Earo uses a spaced repetition system to help you learn efficiently. Study decks contain learning cards that teach you about different guitars and their tones. The app tracks your progress and schedules reviews at optimal intervals to reinforce your learning.
What is the Arcade mode?
The Arcade is a game mode where you test your guitar recognition skills in timed challenges. Free users can play with cooldown periods between sessions, while Pro subscribers have unlimited access.
How do I restore my subscription or purchases?
If you've previously purchased a Pro subscription, open the app and navigate to your account settings. Tap "Restore Purchases" to restore your subscription. If you're having issues, please contact us at support@earo.app with your purchase receipt.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
Free users have access to a selection of guitars, decks, and samples. Pro subscribers get unlimited access to all content, unlimited arcade play (no cooldowns), and full access to all learning materials.
I'm having trouble with audio playback. What should I do?
First, make sure your device volume is turned up and you're not in silent mode. Try closing and reopening the app. If you're using Bluetooth headphones, ensure they're properly connected. If the issue persists, please contact support with details about your device model and iOS version.
Can I use the app without an account?
You can sign in with email, Google, or Apple Sign In. An account is required to track your progress, save your learning data, and participate in leaderboards.
How do I delete my account?

How do I report a bug or provide feedback?
Please email us at support@earo.app with a description of the issue, what you were doing when it occurred, and your device model and iOS version. This helps us fix issues faster and improve the app.
